EPB switch
Hi Guys/Gals
I have read most of the posts re EPB problems but can't seem to find the answer to my issue
I can apply the EPB with no problem and hear it go on, but the switch will not release the brake but the auto disengage works fine when I drive off
Is it likely to be a fault switch or something more expensive?
If it is the switch is this an easy fix?
If I have missed the answer to this in previous posts I apologise

May also be the harness at the rear chassis connector chafed through. My "switch" issue was actually harness failure.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
