Ever had your car roof cut off?
Can you imagine getting home and the roof had been cut off your Disco 3
"We used to like having sex in our lunch hour in the car park. One day, he was on top of me when he put his back out. He literally couldn't move without screaming in agony, and I was trapped by his weight and the awkward angle we were in. I had to attract attention by stamping on the horn, and eventually someone came and called an ambulance. The medics arrived but couldn't move him because of potential further injury, so they gave him an injection for the pain and called the fire brigade. The fire brigade arrived and decided the only way to move him safely was to cut the roof off the car and remove the front seats. They actually got a bit carried away and cut off most of the back of the car as well to get him out safely. He was OK, but I had some explaining to do to my husband because that was his favourite car."

I have cut hundreds of car roofs off, from cheap cars to very expensive ones, even thought that I would have to cut the roof off a funeral car which had a coffin in the back and was involved in a car crash. Have sat inseveral during training exercises, it is a noisey and can be a scarey place to be.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

So do you reckon he would have gone soft then by the time the roof was off? Just wondered if that was what was jamming her

One I heard recently was a Warwickshire patrol car, a new Volvo estate arrived at a road accident and the driver of the other car wasn't injured, so they told them to sit inside and wait for recovery.
Not long after sitting in the car the occupant started complaining of back and neck pain, paramedic arrived and insisted the person should not be moved and you've guessed it, fire brigade called and roof of brand new Volvo cut off, firemen must of been pi** ing themselves

We just ordered a new Merc E Class and were told that because the roof pillars are so strong there are small arrows on them to show the fire brigade where to cut them, I hope we don't need to make use of that accessory

We need a motorway car for long journey plus we have got into a routine of getting a new one every 2yrs or so, this is the 6th. The Disco 3 is the family bus for school runs, going to Majestic wine superstore and all that kind of stuff, I would never dream of going a long way in a Disco 3, although I did drive 10 miles to a farm shop once.

DT,
I travel 410 miles each way to get to Aberdeen every 5 weeks and don't need to stop for a rest as the car is soooooo comfy.
You're not sitting on that hard shiny thing you change gears with are you?? Regards, Trev.
