exhaust mods?!
hi everyone!
I have joined today but have been using the forum extensively for ages before progressing to purchace my disco 3.
I went to get an 'aftermarket' exhaust fitted today and was disappointed to hear that it was a hard task to do. They said it was hard to do because of the '2 balancing weights' attached to the rear bumper. Because of these weights, the guys said it was hard to make a system for me.
I have seen a number of members on this forum that have had flashy exhausts fitted.....whats the secret?
Really would appreciate some guidence!
p.s am going to post some pics tomorrowtally

Twisted Performance do a complete system for the D3 or you can goto JE Engineering (one of the site sponsors) and they can do a complete system as well.

Those (the exhaust tips) are only for show, they dont actually do anything......
Try Janspeed, they were looking for a donar owner a while back so they could develop a performance exhaust for the D3.
I was considering it but can't do without my car for more than a day or so.
Also try infinty exhausts, about 400quid

unless you want a very jiggly ride, i'd suggest leaving them on chap.
Called harmonic dampers - do a google search and you'll find out how they work

Not an expert im afraid.
RLD or Chris Tyler are your main men, as i think both have new performance exhausts.
Chris's is especially nice to hear
