Beg to differ
I used the top part of Rays mount, the bracket
Then used the Expo Load restraining EYE and bottom plate, to fix the Bracket....It slides into the groves on the Expo cross bars.

Mac, you're not cbboard and the question was aimed at him. And no, that's not a Mantec on his car. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Yes, the quality is great, not seen the ladders personally, but seen a sump plate and do agree that the quality matches the Mantec, thats supposed to be the superior.
Shame I purchased mine before Neil n Gary went into business..., could have save £200 and bought a better looking one.

here's a dirtier pick from a few months ago at the annual texas rover rally, SCARR. this is also before the sump, ladder, sliders, and rack. i included a shot of the rear with the ladder as well. the rover is this clean once a year. the sump and ladder are solid and went on with ease. i am really liking the ladder.

to clean it, i just used basic car detailing stuff. i did however spend the good part of 5 hours putting on two coats of "forever black" to the black plastic trim. my plastic had gotten pretty faded and grey...kinda like the london sky . i had read several reviews on this forever black stuff, so i decided to give it a try. the solution is an actual dye and goes on a bit streaky, but really makes the trim look new again. supposedly this stuff will last several years, but we will see. my finger nails are still black from it though!

cbboard - can I ask if you have painted your rims? On one pic (from the mud) it seems they are silver? And black below. I ask, as I plan to paint mine myself, as they are all scratched up on one side after spinning in clay for quite a long time until I had to call the local farmer.. They now look rubbish, and I might as well paint them black if I am doing anything with them - it looks very nice...
planning to chop my roof rack also, by the way

I knew that LR3 looked familiar. Looking fantastic!!! I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

i had the wheels powdercoated a gloss black. in the muddy pic they are just covered in texas red mud. i previously had 19" RRS wheels on, but got the 18" grooved 10 spokes off of craigslist for $300 and had them powdercoated, still need to powdercoat the spare for completeness sake. the powdercoating was about $40 per wheel with an extra $15 for sandblasting the initial finish off. the paint has held up good thus far. in retrospect, i probably would have just rattle canned them. a friend of mine did his matte black and they look fantastic (all for $15).
thanks for the comment sideview! i wish you had your LR3 at SCARR. i would have liked to checked out that rovertym front bumper in person!
