Extended Warranty after 3 years?
My first ever post.
Does any body know if you can purchase an extended warranty after the 3 years are up from LandRover.
I have looked at other independant warranties and these are between £600 and 700 per year.
OR how much does it cost to replace the susp compressor?

Hi Andy, welcome to the forum,
I got a quote from my main dealer, £714 for 1 year extended on a TDV6 SE manual, in my experience though, manufacturers warranties are far superior to aftermarket ones such as warranty direct etc..

And does it depend on your mileage?

dont appologise, thats what the forum is about, Q&A and the odd joke now and then
I was told to ask for the cover towards the end of the 3 year period, because if you buy too early and suffer a total loss accident, then you havent lost any cash. I think the warranty is unlimited mileage, although you will probably find the quote will go up if you go into the 100k mark.
Other thing is dont let the original 3yr warranty lapse because I think you may have trouble extending it then.

Maybe as forum members cars approach three years old, someone should approach the insurance company (including Land Rover's insurance company) and negotiate a group discount Matt
