extended warranty

Is there a current "best extended warranty" provider, other than the LR one. I did have the AA "gold" (I think it was called) on my old D3, but dont think that covers all the stuff needed for a D3 anymore.

Cheers

If you are wealthy maybe self insure, if you are a struggling pensioner get a 'good' warranty including wear & tear, that way you can sleep at night and if it all goes Censored up you will still have a motor Thumbs Up

Remember warranty companies are a business not a charity, so in most cases you get what you pay for, if it sounds too good to be true it more than likely is Wink

Or those that drive a car with less than solid reliability. I'm several grand up compared with had I not taked out Tesco & WD cover. I personally think anyone going alone with a cash cow like a D3 is completely bonkers. Whistle

No I don't hash (I assume you mean thrash) my cars and I have faith in the D3 to do what in need it to do but I know that won't be all the time. Whistle It doesn't matter whether you ave faith or not in a car, if it's packed up it's packed up. Unless they are telepathic. Shocked Shocked

As for DG clone, I couldn't possibly comment. Laughing Laughing

I had the AA warranty previously, but never had to make a claim. I'm told by the AA that this is now CarProtect. 25 quid a month for their topline cover doent look bad.

Anyone got this - tried claiming from it?

Cheers

My head tells me that any isnurance is a mug's game and that's what I thought when I didn't insure my dog. Big mistake. Likewise I have had far more out of car insurers than they have had out of me. So far WD is just money out, but I can't afford £10k for a new engine so I guess that the cost of doing business with LR.
