2010 D4 HSE Drivers seat travel restricted

The drivers rearward seat travel on our D4 seems to be restricted compared to how it was. It's only occurred since last week when there was a large bag behind it and the seat was tight against it

Comparing to the passenger seat it has about 2" less rearward travel

Is there a reset/ adjustment that can be made? wondering if there's some sort of memory failsafe to stop overloading the motor

thanks

Hi

In the absence of any advice could somebody with electric seats in a D4 wind both fully rearward and see if the travel is the same

thanks

Might seem obvious, but have you checked there's not something stuck in the runner?

I find on max height the seat does not go as far back as when on a lower height!
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Nothing obviously stopping it indeed I think I can hear a microswitch or relay click when it reaches the end of travel

Tried different heights but not helped Sad
