I would like to take this opportunity to sing the praises of my D3.
Apart from the odd squeak from the drivers seat (sorted by dealer) and the fact that it needs a new drivers door seal (cosmetic reasons) and new wiper blades (warranty ) on Thursday, it is going a good as i can imagine and we are extremely pleased.
During this wet weather and the fact that we live in the 'country', the D3 is often on single track or B roads and they have been flooded and in parts impassable to normal cars.
Driving through these roads during heavy rain the other night, it was very enjoyable and safe and we commented that we wouldnt want to be in any other vehicle. The kids wanted bigger 'splashes' and we both said that the money spent on the D3 was money well spent.
We will never take it up mountains, but as Clarkson, said...........its nice to know it can.
Nice one Land Rover. 8)

Are the wiper blades being swapped under warranty? Mine are very noisy on the glass, is that the reason? If so I will get mine changed. 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

(almost) Everybody here will agree with you tony (unlike on other car-related forums).
Although I got stuck yesterday with the car on a place I never expected to get stuck. My two years old daughter started crying. We had to call friends to pick my wife and daughter up.
Recovering the car was an adventure because the car was sliding in the mud towards a tree. Just before the ultimate trial that freed the car, it was standing +/- 10cm from the tree.
Everything ended up all right, so daddy did not have to cry.....

Yes they are, but we will find out for definate on Thursday.
The car went in for a squeaky seat and i added the squeaking wiper to the list (offside one).
When i went to pick the car up he said that i needed new wipers because they were worn out!!!!!!!!!!
I pointed out that the car wasnt old and that i would expect them to last more than a few months.
First of all my dealer said ...no way. Adding that the car was now 8 months old.
After i argued (politely discussed), and pointed out that a few people i know had them changed under warranty, he said he would get back to me.
He did and his reply was that they would replace them both under warranty.
A good result but i will update on Thurs.
