Far right air vent / connected to left side controls??? |
|
I'd like to check if this is a common issue.
As I'm sat in the driving seat; the vent just to the left of the steering wheel (but still on my side) - blows correctly, to whatever I set on my sides temp. The vent just to the right of the steering wheel (so next to the window) seems connected to the passenger side temperature control.
It's very frustrating because; my partner likes her temperature, usually, different to mine.
I've had the car a week now and I'm finding the general build quality / quality checks to be shoddy at best.
Let me know if this is yet another 'thing' to add to the list when it visits the supplying dealer next week!

Can't help you with specific problem, but your right - my brand new MY16 had many build problems/lack of quality checks..... from exterior paint 'droop' (or whatever the proper term is) - to 'B'' pillar ticking (which it still does!! - but given up on LR sorting that for about the 6th time - life's too short) and many other issues (see my posts from about September 2015).
