Read somewhere here that others have the farting aircon problem.... assumed it was just my vehicle. Is it an easy fix or a major? Would be nice to get rid of it but the humour when carrying passengers is almost worth leaving it. Near enough 40 degrees South!!!

I've been unable to get rid of it. I have had the "Aspirator motor' replaced twice, and it's still farts regularly, whenever the flapper thingie changes position.

I don't mind the fart. It sort of makes the car human.
As long as it let's me out I won't worry! Have a nice day!

According to my dealer its a major job, and not covered by warranty, 'cos its still operating according to "specification"
tried to have a look myself, and I agree it would be a major undertaking, so like Jamo I will live with it. It hasn't gotten any worse over the last year.

A lot of folk have this issue appears to be design fault. Not good on a luxury car. They know if they fix one they have to fix all but on new models it should not happen as they should have changed the design.
I would push the issue if is is on an MY07 or earlier. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
