Farting aircon

Read somewhere here that others have the farting aircon problem.... assumed it was just my vehicle. Is it an easy fix or a major? Would be nice to get rid of it but the humour when carrying passengers is almost worth leaving it.

I've been unable to get rid of it. I have had the "Aspirator motor' replaced twice, and it's still farts regularly, whenever the flapper thingie changes position.

I don't mind the fart. It sort of makes the car human.

As long as it let's me out I won't worry!

According to my dealer its a major job, and not covered by warranty, 'cos its still operating according to "specification" Sad
tried to have a look myself, and I agree it would be a major undertaking, so like Jamo I will live with it. It hasn't gotten any worse over the last year.

A lot of folk have this issue appears to be design fault. Not good on a luxury car. Sad They know if they fix one they have to fix all but on new models it should not happen as they should have changed the design.
I would push the issue if is is on an MY07 or earlier. Rolling Eyes
