Cheers Martin, I have down loaded everything, think it must be my Laptop tbh, or the FBH being fubarred. I'll try my old laptop, and a mates, and I should find out if it's the FBH or not.
I know everything else is right.

I have followed Narpy's advise and when all connected to restart my Laptop, well this didn't work.
So am trying to get hold of a different Laptop, so I can finally determine if its the laptop or the FBH.

Am leaning towards the FBH being goosed tbh.

Also anyone have an idea what this plug is for on the loom by the FBH?

Magneto valve...
For regulating heat first towards cabin and secondly to the engine..

Or at least, I presume, since it has the plug for it..

Mine is blanked off (plug), so probably wasn't fitted. Would it be worth fitting, esp if i have to swap the fbh for a working one??

Only, just only if you mount a IPCU to control the inner van and flaps first.

A lot of people, keep thinking that a FBH is a parking heater, it is not.. (by standard).
It is (Just) an auxiliary heater, to help the engine to keep you warm indoors, in case it is colder outside than 7degrees Celsius...

If you want a full parking heater... follow this webasto manual (or alternative..., like altox etc.)

https://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/us...motopv.pdf

And you can add a magneto valve.. to be more efficient for the cabin, like shown on this schematic

 Best regards

Well I think it’s there to help the engine get up to temp so it’s efficient for emissions.

Anyway if you get the heater running for 15 mins it will be quicker to get the cab up to temp when you start the engine

I'm looking at getting an Altox with IPCU, so this would be needed.
So theoretically would just be plumb this in and the wiring and then its all good.

Would be needed? No... it is an option...(magneto valve)

Altox IPCU is ok...Webasto IPCU is ok, but keep in mind a ALTOX IPCU is at least 100 GBP more expensive than a Webasto IPCU...

I am not writing about the gsm controller... just the IPCU..

Looks like it is indeed a Laptop issue, as I found an old Acer Aspire Laptop (Running MS Vista) and got it up and running. Poor thing thought it was 2005!! So downloaded all the USB files and all bits ad bobs needed from Narpy and on here, and on my (newer) Laptop (MS Win10) it wasn't having any of it, on the old Acer it flew on accepted everything and also I now Run Vag-Com lmfao.

So if all goes well I shall try and sort the issues when a delivery comes, the battery lasts 1-2mins unplugged, so a new battery. And I couldn't find the charger as I used a HP Printer adapter that sort of worked, so a new charger.

I'm happy with it being a Diagnostic Laptop, so worth the £25 for the battery and charger. So hopefully will get it sorted sometime next week when I'm off work.

Tried everything to get the FBH to run, tried the Webasto TCC with two different laptops to no avail.
So bought an Autel AP200 bluetooth OBD reader, and cleared the fault codes.
From the live data it was starting up, glow plug was getting prepared, but as soon as the fuel pump came on the glow plug would go off and the pump shortly after.
So after attempting to reset fault codes a few times it still wasn't working.
Brake cleaner and an air compressor, sprayed brake cleaner into the unit and blew compressed air, still nothing.
So waited on the live data and waited for the fuel pump to start, and sprayed loads of brake cleaner into the intake, a couple of 2 sec bursts, and waited. It backfired 3 times through the inlet and then fired into life.

Have run the vehicle most of the night in temps +3 degrees C, to +1 degree C, and it ran really well, restarted many times, and made the D3 REALLY warm inside.
It's REALLY worth doing if your doesn't work.

I dunno why when making a video and things go well, my voice changes lol.
