We have a 12v electric heated blanket, with a fitted sheepskin undercover, and a duck down duvet. About 20 minutes before going to bed we put the blanket on, and then turn it off after we go to bed. We've never been cold, as your core body temperature is high when getting into bed.

As Beanie has suggested, a separate cabin heater run from an aux battery. Even if you could get the FBH to warm the cabin it would kill the battery.De-Tango
