FBH wasn't the only thing smoking this morning !

My heated steering wheel started too Shocked
I have taken the wheel off and found the problem. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement from with a little thicker gauge wiring ? Thanks

Hi Thanks for that Mr GS Bow down I could not remember where i bought the original from. I didn't realise it was from here Embarassed I think just age and heat has caused it to go Its not a perfect fit and can move which may cause a little arcing under load Thanks again Thumbs Up

Hi

Ur so welcome Thumbs Up

Martin has been a godsend over time for finding terminals etc

See what u mean ref the connections, when I upgraded mine to a D4 steering wheel didn’t go for the heated option but got new looms etc for the switches as the old ones we’re slightly worn

Hopefully will be a simple fix Thumbs Up

Ps, just bought some of these off Martin as I’m adding some extra interior lights to the boot area seeing that single one in the headlining isn’t much good , these connectors also fit the puddle and footwell lights

Ive ended up ordering from RC car shop. They do everything for model cars but had just what i wanted with a little larger gauged wire. Worth checking out for things like that. Thumbs Up
O and I,ve ordered 2 (Just incase Whistle )
