I'm going to send an email to NCAP to see if the D3 or RRS is on their radar for testing in the near future.
Guess what chaps - I got a reply from NCAP...

Dear Steve
Thank you for your interest in Euro NCAP.
I cannot give you the exact date of when the test will take place as
this is subject to change, but I can certainly tell you that the
Landrover Discovery will be tested sometime in the coming year. The
results will be made available soon afterwards.
Hope this helps!
Best regards,

Because after they've done it we'll have those 5 NCAP stars to wave at the tree huggers and Nissan Micra drivers...Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

We have to have some sacrifices for the greater good of humanity and disco3 owners - We must offer the D3 unto the block in order that the God of NCAP will bless us with 5 bright shiny stars
...it's a bit like paganism
....and an excuse for a party
Who will offer their Disco3 unto the Gods ? ?21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

But wouldn't be good to go along and watch? A Disco3.co.uk outing. And they're in Brussels - Belgian beer has always been a favourite!Disco 5 HSE Lux

Can the final result be much different to the 4 star RR?
Forget the concrete block, how about a whip-round to provide them with an Espace to crash into, complete with TV presenters?
