finding a permanent live
Chaps
I have a MY10 D4 and use the vehicle for 4x4 response & search and rescue, I have to fit a few bits to the vehicle namely hideaway LED strobes and a vhf / digital radio. Because there will be occasion where I have to leave the vehicle at the side of the road with lights on I want to find some permanent live feeds inside the cab to allow me to have the strobes and radio working without the engine running. I know there are feeds but just wondered if anyone can save me hours with a multi meter and point me in the right direction..

My advice is don't do it. You can give yourself some auxiliary power time by utilising the battery saver relay but the best option is to fit a CANBUS runlock for this kind of work.
