First D3... and it's a V8
Took the plunge on this last week, early HSE so few things to sort but loving it so far (the LPG helps!).
Will be looking to tidy a couple of bits and spruce up the interior at some point, I've been used to an individual 330ci so just feels a bit 'dull' at the moment. No doubt I'll join the queue for the hens teeth parts

Welcome aboard and very nice motor.
There are plenty of suggestions on the forum of how to separate you from your hard earned cash When you are dead, you do not know you are dead. All of the pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

Welcome to the exclusive D3V8 club, mine makes me smile every day, and the warmer weather gives you the excuse to roll down the windows as you pull away from lights, drive through tunnels, overtake etc
Couple of humble suggestions: if you have LPG does it have a valve lube system? If not I would look at getting one. Secondly take a minute to clean your throttle body (buildup of crud can lead to missfires and odd running) and finally change out your PCV valve - they are cheap and easy to change and it's about the one common cause of failure of the 4.4 V8 if it goes bad.
Looks like a nice tidy example, hope she treats you well (but get ready to dig deep!)

Many thanks for the info, must confess I've not had chance to really get to have a full poke around yet so the tips are most welcome.
Contacting Geoff about a gearbox flush and opening up some features is on the list, likewise I also need to source a key from somewhere as that went missing when the PO went to Centre Parcs.
I've been through the paperwork to see about a valve lube system but not seen anything that mentions it, is there an easy way to visually know when looking in the engine bay?
Will attack the throttle body and change PCV valve when I get chance - any recommendations as to a good parts supplier?
For those in Kent also, where do you get your V8 serviced as will be looking to find a good specialist if I can. I've had good experience of All Terrain in Hastings having bought a 3.9 V8 off them for my MG but that's quite a trek from Tonbridge.
Finally exhaust is nice but a little muted in my view... may need to change that at some point for a little more burble.
Parked her up next to the current daily... quite the size difference!

I had a 330ci, somehow the rear tyres only seem to last around 6000 miles
Let me know what you decide on exhaust, i have heard cutting out the centre silencer makes it roar no burble .
