United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Unknown ColourDiscovery 3
First day of ownership

Still have a smile on my face for my first Disco. Tainted by the delivery experience . . . . . after delivery there was liquid on the inside of one wheel that was not there when I had looked over it at the stealer’s. No obvious source so I thought it was an over fill. Cleaned it off and drove it to find it reappeared and was coming from a brake pipe that was loose. More inspection showed the brake pedal would travel to the floor if pushed hard enough so my guess is that the dealer probably cracked the pipe open to get a pedal for delivery and failed to tighten it.
It came with a 70 point inspection check and I intended to get it into an independant to “inspect” it & tell me if anything needed doing so if you are thinking about buying a second hand car please, please, please get it inspected by someone other than the seller.

Still deciding how to give the dealer some valued “customer feed back” but the most important thing on this forum is that we can learn from each other through good & bad experiences and I think I was lucky not to of had an accident or brake fluid on the paint work.
