Last night on the way to the yearly meal for my office wallers, for the first time properly it snowed and snowed and snowed....
So after the meal I couldn't wait to drive home and see what the D3 is all about, alas stuck behind Audi's, Beemer's and buses the top speed rarely got above a mind numbing 15 MPH.
I knew it would be pretty bad in the morning and told the missus we are off to Wicke's carpark.... She was not impressed in the slightest. Trying to convince her that I needed to know how the D3 behaved when the end gets out of shape and how easily it is to get back...I thought I sounded pretty convincing....
Well 10 minutes power sliding around two large lamp posts about fifty yards apart I had to stop before her screaming damaged my eardrums and the threat of Singapore Vermicelli being sprayed across the dash....I did offer her the opportunity of standing outside....
Anyway,I found the D3 quite a dignified when it came to getting sideways and a decent amount of feedback to let you know it was happening. Getting it back in a straight line was a doddle....
Took my slightly hung over better half to work this morning. Belting up she glared over and growled, "Just dare"

Love, Love Lovin' the snow and ice and slush.....
Very impressed with the beastie but it can give you a sense of invincibility, which quickly disappears when you slide past your
intended turning..... Fair amount of kinetic energy to stop on ice....
