Fitting Driving Lamp - HELP! |
|
Hi guys,
I am fixing up my driving lamp kit XQB50080 and I am stuck at step 74 which the instruction says: look out for green connector and insert pin into hole #13.
There are 2 green connector under the RHD steering column below A pillar. the smaller green plug that looks more like the one in the manual has the "hole" that is too small for my pin to be inserted in, while the other green plug has only 12 holes... !!!
Anyone has tips for me? (how can i attached image?)
Thank you!

I think the connector in question is on the left in RHD cars....

I think this refers to the green plug that goes into the bottom of the CJB (fuse box) behind the passenger lower glovebox 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

That would be the left side of the cabin then
(unless I am very much mistaken and Singapore cars are LHD? )

Yes, they are RHD. I shall rip my dash again tomorrow. BTW, what's that little wire function? LR lives!

HELP help again!
I have went to the passenger side where there are muliple green connectors, I believe the one that is plug into the CJB is the right one, but I am having difficulty trying to unplug it so that I can hunt for hole #13. LR lives!

Yes, it is a little stiff IIRC, but with a little force I persuaded it to come off
Make sure you press the clip that holds it in place while you do that...

Hmmm... I can feel a little clip behind in the centre, there is not enough room to put my entire finger on it. I will try harder again tomorrow. LR lives!
