Fitting mantec Plate to D3
I've just got my hands on Mantec plate courtesy of the Forum- Its just the plate without any bolts- Any tips on how to fit and what bolts if any I need ? -Thanks
and fitting is so easy I got my 14 year old to do it for me...The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

There are six bolts, two are already there holding the existing main sump guard on, then you need four more, they are M10 x 35mm flange head (with 15mm heads,) the middle two screw into threaded holes in the chassis and the two at the front need nuts with them.
You might get away with conventional M10 bolts & washers but you could struggle getting a 17mm socket into the recessed holes on the middle pair of bolts.Clive
