fitting time/distance recorder (terratrip or sim) - G4 D3

All,

I am looking to fit a time / distance recorder to my G4 D3 for some events

has anyone any experience of fitting a Terratrip for example to a D3??

any suggestions on sim kit to a Terratrip?? any suitable alternatives?
