Im down south on Tuesday .
Gonna be in the Swindon area ..and Southampton G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
Actually, it's a pretty straightforward job. Most time consuming bit was making the hole in the steering wheel cowl.

P.S. I'm sure my compressor is more noisy thank normal. Maybe it's full of mud. I'll have to whip it off and check as off to France next weekend.
P.P.S. Just given it a clean. It was, as we Yorkshiremen say, quite "mucky" but not as bad as some of the pictures on here show. Still a surprising amount of mud and dirt though.Andy

Hi everyone, I've not long had my D3 and need a little clarification.
I have the SE model with LR builtin voice and bluetooth. phone works well and I can use voice to calls people etc. I can't control the Radio or CD and I'm wondering if that's because I dont have SatNav? would that be correct.
Also, could it be enabled without having Sat Nav?
thanks everyone.

Am I being stoopid or what? I cannot figure out how this black part unclips from the interior light console so I can fit my microphone! Anybody?
Thanks!

OK - ignore that. Am sorted now.
For any others having trouble with this, put your thumb and forefinger in the two square holes of the black section. With your other hand, grasp the white bit of plastic with the blue stud fastener in it and gently pull the two pieces apart. It will come unclipped but you will need to pull a little harder to get the black piece past the white piece in order to completely remove the black piece.
Putting it back together again is simple and should just snap back into place.

Hello:
Can this modification be done even if I don't have navigation? I have a 2005 SE with 6 cd radio system (if that helps). Have check (thanks wiggs) and mic connection is there.
Thank you

unfortunatly the commands for the voice control are stored in the navigation unit ...so it will not be worth you doing the mod .
there is telephone voice controls stored in the phone module ...but if you have the phone fitted that would already be enabledG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
