Should I fix or get shut

Hi just wanted to know other peoples thoughts, my d3 basically needs about £3000 spending on it to get it fixed, the arms bushes sensors on brakes suspension sensors, xy code leads me to believe clutch needs replacing and quite a few other problems. Is it worth spending the money or get something new. Thumbs Up

Hi it’s on a 57 plate about 8 services on it and to look at it’s in really good condition, 145000 on the clock I’ve put 390000 on it in 4 years never really spent any serious money on it but just been dealing with all the problems and struggled to get anyone to touch it until I found a garage that knows what they are doing and described it as a nail.

Is that 390000 meant to be 39,000?

How much would you spend on something new?

What does 'describing it as a nail' mean?

I'd rather spend some money to keep a car I loved working well than to go for a new car - you'll end up spending money on a new car as well.

Guess it just depends how wedded to the Disco you are.
