not sure about the Alko, but the tow bar even the fixed version and electric are simple to fit.

I would go for the quick relaese tow bar. It does the job well.

No i dont tow heavy objects, just a jet ski, or my conway trailer tent mate.

Yes I tow a large van with a removable tow bar and a built in stabilizer. No issues. Go for the removable. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I tow a 1900KG caravan and have towed heavier. The swanneck type removable is fine, rated to 3500kg and no problem with ALKO stabilisers. The tow ball is also just the right hight to keep the trailer levelDuncan

Tiny little 1300kg caravan with Alko stabiliser - no problem. When you see some of the skinny swan necks which are approved, you have NO worries. 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

I think some older models need the electrics to be dealer enabled though!
Fitting is less than an hours job!
