LOL - but then you would increase other taxes, maybe a fresh air tax, to be diverted to get someone else to wash the car. Smile

or an anti green sociopath tax on all those anti 4 x 4 protesters...

even a 2 wheel drive tax for all those poor saps who cannot afford to drive a luxury 4 x 4 like ours Wink

I noticed on TV last nigh that the Midlands Today reporters checking on voters issues were driving a nice shiny DISCO3 HSE in Silver !

Wonder if LR pimped them this for some free advertising ?

By the way... LR now do pocket size anti anti 4 x 4 leaflet that quotes fact against fiction... some good dat in this too.

Maybe they should put these under windscreen wipers of all the two wheel drive cars in Camden that are more thirsty, have a bigger foot print and put out more CO2 than our rides ?

I believe all it has in it is a rinse aid, using Turtle Wax extreme wash does the same. When you hose it off don't use a sray attechment just the hose itself, this seems to keep the water in a sheet which runs off and needs very little drying at all, particularly if the car is well waxed.

I have one of these (not a frost though) and I found that unless it is completely clean you get scratches... found out my cost the first time I washed my new DISCO3.

Would rather use my Flash filtered spray as it touchless.

I use a turtle wax one of those, but you do need to clean the blade before use to make sure there is no grit.

Topless car washes in the UK - Naked babes clean up!!

Surely the best way to have our D3 washed would be to take it to a topless manual carwash Smile

I understand that they're all the rage over in the US, and would lvoe to know if we have any over here in the UK.

You wouldn't get any scratches, unless they're wearing rings in certain parts of their upper body, but apart from that think over hte lovely shine you'd get, both to the car are your face, washing some amply proportioned babe rubbing herself all over you car Smile I understand the shing comes from the big pillows and has nothing to do with the water hardness, however beware of slimy trails!!!

HA HA Smile

Al,

That'd definitely be a touch-less wash or the body guards would throw you out Smile

Is agreeable, Kostya?

Sounds like a sunny day activity. I am sure this sort of thing occurs at the odd biker due...maybe a hot-rod (Kroozin) type car rally ? but I am sue I am not going to see one in downtown Warwick !

Back to the flash wash jobby, maybe car wash solutions have a rinse aid, but here the water is very hard and I am pleased with the performance of final rinse filter. not quite worker out how to get that into a bucket Smile

I have one of the Autoglym blades and it works without scratching - especially good for glass. I always run my fingers down each edge before letting it touch the car. No scratches so far.
