Flat tracker.

Hi all, thought I’d share this picture of a flat tracker that my cousin has built, it’s a kind of American speedway bike.
I’m not massively into bikes, but I thought it looked amazing for a 70’s road legal run a round.

Well „road legal“ remains to be seen... without mudguards, lights, etc...

But nice bike.....I like the look!

This is what a lot of „the lads“ are building these days... sort of caferacer „revival“ 3.0 milenial way.. although clip–ons are seldom seen on these revival bikes...

We earn a living with parts for classics like this... we see a lot of these here in and around the shop... Thumbs Up

(although we do only european brands ourselves)

I think so, two cylinder.
He imports a few bikes from America, I saw a few today and they are wrecks with seized engines.
It made me want to go out for a run on it, and I I’ve never ridden one.

Motolab, it does have lights, you can’t see them in the picture.

amazingly you dont need a brake light for an day time MOT either Whistle

“The situation with stop lamps is significantly more complicated. Hi,
it must be even more complicated than that Laughing

mines a late 1970's 250cc and has passed 2 MOT's, it's first when I road registered the bike, it is now "Historic" registered, it needed a Legal size number plate and an Electric Horn, no lights and no brake light

if it had been an earlier bike (not sure the date, early 70's?) it would have not needed the Electric horn, just A Horn! mine has a P9 9v battery taped to the handle bars 8)
