Floor mat hooks
I discovered today that my Discovery 4 has two floor mat fixing points per side in the second row yet the mats that are "fitted" despite being genuine land rover only have a single fixing point. Does anyone know what is going on here?

There are two variants of the mats. Single hole and twin hole. I guess you've got the wrong ones. Richard

So it really is as simple as that! Best I source some then... I bet they are twice as expensive!

My second row rubber mats have a hole in them on the long bit running alongside the seats - but no clip to attach them to - been like this since new. No clip needed to be honest - they never move.2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

I have that too! The part that is different on my car compared to the mats is there are also two tie down points on each mat where the rear passengers left and right feet would be. It means my current mats aren’t clipped down and also sit proud.

In the pack with the mats there are two screw-in (Screw in to the carpet) fixings which hold the long part of the mat. Whoever fitted the mats obviously didn’t bother about the additional fixings.MY14 TDV6

If using these screw in fixings for the rear mats, is there enough depth in the fitted carpets without screwing blindly into something underneath?2012 - 8 Speed D4 HSE in Indus Silver with surround cameras, adaptive headlamps, privacy glass, rear entertainment, 20" alloys.
