Found this in the engine bay...
I found this in the engine bay of our new D3 the other day.
I kind of realise what it is. Can't find a lot of detail about exactly how it works though. I have always avoided these in the past. The car seems to run well but I thought I would seek the opinion of the experts on here as to whether this is worth leaving fitted or likely to do damage in time?

chip tuning is bad i would get rid of asap in case of collision this visible mod would most possibly end up in invalidation of your insurance and all
besides only proper ECU tune makes sense those devices only change a few things giving false sense of improvement
