Found two of these in my ash tray

Being a typical lazy wotsit, I have flicked through the handbook but not read it all in detail. I wondered if anyone could tell me what this tool is for?

Not wanting to disagree (perhaps it's the same part for both), but I have two of these 'keys' in the stowage bag for the roof bars along with the regular style of keys which unlock the bars. Once the roof bars are unlocked, you need to loosen the allen key bolts in the roof bars with this 'key' to allow sufficient lateral movement to release them from the roof rails.

Unless I'm mistaken, the lamp protection grilles have larger allen bolts......

JMC - I got the same keys for the lamp guards, for the bars I have the normal alan key.

Must depend on the dealer then...... I got a normal allen key for the lamp guards Wink

Perhaps Lakeland can let us know which one we should use for which job Laughing

I suspect it depends on what's supplied with the accessory not the dealer. Presumably when the accessory manufacturer runs out of ones with LR plastic handles they use normal allen keys
