Four Wheel Alignment East Sussex

Hi All,

Having the front lower suspension arms replaced this morning on the D4.
Will need to take it somewhere for a 'proper job' on the alignment.
Have searched on here for recommendations and found one in Southampton and one in Ashford Kent but that was back in 2010.

Could anyone suggest somewhere closer (Lewes area)?

Thanks very much in advance.

Slightly further but a nice drive for you is AHL Engineering in Ulcombe near Maidstone.. they have both the alignment machines and the Land Rover tools plus the experience to restore to the suspension settings to original.
They plug the car in to do the job properly... they have just done my G4.
Excellent guys...only do Land Rovers so they know the vehicles inside out.

I’ve just had a Hunter Wheel alignment done at Marks Tyres, Coulsdon in Surrey.
They are just off the M25 going into London on the A23. Had mine done 3 times in last 5 years and they are very helpful and explain everything ( if you ask). Also just bought a new set of GG AT3 s as well!

Tks terryall, that might be a quicker run for me from here.

I went for the BFG K02 some 10k miles ago, very happy with them though not great shipping mud out of the tread - the GG came a close 2nd, perhaps next time (or sooner if I dont get on to the wheel alignment pronto!)

AJL,
You won’t be disappointed. I’ve just bought a set of GG AT 3 ‘s as previously mentioned. Reason being I had a set prior to my last but I swapped to Scorpion Zero again for some reason and hated them.
Fronts were quite worn so a new set was needed so back on AT3s. I’ve previously posted about my experience in the heavy snow about 4/5 years ago and a long drive home very early morning. Most other vehicles could not manage the hills around Cheltenham and were sliding back down hills as were buses and lorries.
The AT3s just skated up hills and planted themselves on ever increasingly dangerous roads. I felt very safe
in what was becoming quite dangerous driving conditions. Why I swapped to Zeros I will never know. Probably thought due to climate change it will never snow again 😂
Anyhow, get your alignment done and save yourself a lot of money on worn rubber.

Tks terryall, cannot beat a decent AT tyre. The mountain + snowflake symbol was high on the agenda for just such a scenario. Not sure when I'll get to have fun in the white stuff though. Driving down to the alps is off for the forseeable but mightily pleased I've got something safer on than stock when it does occur.

Thanks to all for their input.

Just to follow up, I popped along to TopMarks Tyres in Coulsdon today as this was enroute (sort of) to collect a few bit n pieces.

Top job, great service and obviously knew what they were talking about.

The D4 drives much better and hopefully my tyres will last a bit longer now!
