[FREE] 338mm drilled / slotted front discs for V8/4.4 |
|
As per eBay item eBay Item No. 352200614227 , these are 338mm slotted discs for discovery 4.4.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-FRONT-DRILL...2200614227
I've taken them out of the box (which was battered by the courier who delivered them ) and gone to fit one before I checked the size.
Am going to chalk it up to experience (and really isn't the sellers fault) and have no appetite to trip to the post office / couriers at this time of year, plus the box isn't really up to shipping them back in, so they're Free to anyone who wants to COLLECT from Upstreet / Canterbury kent - CT3.. (don't want to get into arranging / packing / labelling / waiting for couriers)
I'm sorry if I'm not local to wherever you are.
Charles

If you fit V8 carriers could you not use them yourself? On my planned upgrade list as feel standard ones leave a bit to be desired Welsh Collie Chauffeur Service To Barney & Rooney.

As above...
You will not believe the difference they make... you still use the original callipers but just use the V8 mounting carriers... you can get these from Advanced Factors...
If you still don’t want to do it then i’ll have dibs if I may?..

I will also vouch for the difference the upgrade made. Get the V8 carriers from advanced and you won’t regret it. I’m running a BAS remap and find them more than capable. Fantastic upgrade.

Evening,
Carriers had crossed my mind but it's more stuff to do and one of the discs is in a dreadful state at the moment so need to get that sorted before I do much else..
Farmer Chalk - they're available if you want to sort out picking them up..
Charles.

If FarmerChalk doesn't have them then I'll take second dibs. My family are in Canterbury and I am down there this weekend or they can collect at any other point that suits.

As per pm... very grateful but willing to give you a hand fitting them if you can get the carriers!
Advanced Factors are brilliant and can get the relevant parts to you super duper quickly! Speak to them tomorrow and they will be with you on Tuesday/ Wednesday...

Go for it mate your half way there like farmer says AF quick delivery got somebody willing to help you should you need it Probably the courier did you a favor destroying the packing. If you were confident to fit standard disc not much more work to do carriers as well. I bet you'll be glad you ordered the wrong size think of it as Xmas present to your Disco Welsh Collie Chauffeur Service To Barney & Rooney.

Genuine carriers with sliders |
|
Saw these listed when looking at their cheap sunroof switches that Sea Raider posted yesterday!
Genuine ones here - https://www.lucari-solutions.co.uk/177-sxp...fi-22.html
Thought this was a good price for genuine ones... Must stop buying shiny toys....
