United Kingdom 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 5 Seat Manual Arctic FrostDiscovery 3
Front bumper repair

Whilst trying to negotiate a particularly tight gateway last night, I managed to scrape the corner of the plastic bumper on my beloved D3 5-seat (540 miles only, and not a single sign of a problem!). The black part of the bumper on the nearside corner is a bit scratched - anyone know if this black section can be replaced without having to buy a whole new bumper ?? Approximate cost ?

Not sure if I'll get it done yet in any case, as I'll probably only do it again!

Its all one piece I'm afraid. I scraped mine underneath, and thought about changing the bumper, but I'll bet it costs a fortune.

I keep looking on ebay, as parts come along occasionally. If I come across an Arctic Frost example, I will let you know.

Try Chipsaway, depending on the skill of your local guy they can do great plastic repairs, not cheap but nowhere near as bad as a new bumper.

Thanks Guys!

I think I'll probably leave it alone for the time being, but in the long run I might get it sorted.

I might find chips away and give them a ring!

Thanks a lot!
