Just be aware that you always get fine metal bits on the magnet plug - you say it is getting noisy then if that is the place then replace or rebuild but if just on the basis of metal on the plug then leave it - just remove the oil, flush and refill. Change the oil more often (will still get metal on the plug) and monitor - if noise and vibration starts well then change.
I change my diff oils every 24,000km and always have metal on the plug. My diff has now done over 200,000km and is fine but still produces metal on the plug at each oil change.
