Front Hub assembly Discovery 3.....07plate

Hi Folks.

More advice please. Grumbling from O/S hub when travelling home from work, reckon it the hub assembly, I had to do the N/S couple of years back. Sadly it got that bad I had to pull over and get recovery. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree, ABS fault Suspension fault. Im thinking the ABS ring and sensor may have been damaged. Can anyone tell me will the new hub assembly come complete with ABS ring? Or is this a separate part? And anyone any ideas why i got a suspension fault indication?

Thanks folks.

Kenny

Separate parts. I guess you're talking about the front?

Do you have access to a code reader?

Depending where you are I may be passing Thursday/Friday and could read your codes

Clean up the grooves, Fit the new bearing and see how you get on, at worst you may need a new ABS sensor Thumbs Up

The wheel hub is separate to the ABS ring, the ABS ring is on driveshaft and the ABS sensor is in the knuckle.

So, installing a new wheel hub, will have nothing to do with ABS ring or sensor.

Idea If the bearing was allowing movement in the shaft/hub assembly it could well throw up an abs fault - been there, done it Whistle
