Front Light Guard brackets

Hi all, I am looking to fit front light guards to my discovery 4, there are a few sets floating around, one I have found is less than half the price but does not come with the fitting plates/brackets.

Does anyone happen to have a set of brackets they could photograph well enough to help me fabricate some? I'm pretty handy so have no problem making something up just need some detailed photos, ideally with a tape measure for sizes.

Any help will be appreciated. Thumbs Up

Are they the same as a D3 set, if so I'm yet to fit mine and happy to measure/photograph...
I got a used set, intended on cleaning/painting them before fitting - that's over a year ago Shocked

I'm not to sure Morgan but if you don't mind that would be amazing and may give me something to work with. Thumbs Up

I'm assuming the rear of the lights is similar fittings and therefore the same with the guards. Anything you can do will be appreciated and give me a good start Smile

I've got the rear set too...

Will dig them out of the shed tomorrow afternoon while I'm on my working from home brake - will give me the excuse to start cleaning them up for fitting Thumbs Up

Perfect thanks Very Happy

I have a brand new set of rears waiting to go on, its just the fronts i need to get now. They seem fairly pricey most of the time tbh so this set without the brackets seems tempting provided I can made the required brackets.

I need those little grommet things that push in that you fasten the bracket to. Bought several different kinds now and still haven't got the right ones.

If it's the plastic bit that slots in for you to screw into, I've got some of those as I didn't need them. Send me your address and I'll post them on.

Yeh those things, struggled to find em anywhere. Couldn't get em out of my old car when I took the light guards off.

pwheeldon, if you're offering the mounting plastic parts to a good home could you let me know?

Have been looking for a alternative as the set I picked up didn't have them...
