You have a space quota of 1024K, your files currently use 61685K, adding this file would make you exceed your quota.

i'd already got some pics uploaded … but had tided up the shots to show things better .(but can't get those to upload)

so … in this, top washer is the "not failed but poor logs" one, bottom is the failed one.

and here, you can just see where it was welded at previous corner positions of the bolt.

There should be groves up the actual thread to enable the washer to go on the nut side then tighten. Not good if a new washer or bolt has failed.

Where did the new bolts come from ? Personally I wouldn’t be happy using them if the lugs tear off that easily. The ones I fitted to mine came with the kit from Advanced Factors, but they were Borg &Beck, and had a black finish when new. They were ok, but are now quite rusty after only one year on the car. The original LR bolts stood up well to over 10 yrs use, came out fairly easily, and were not very rusty at all. So with hindsight, if I have to do this again, I would get genuine LR parts next time. Thumbs Up

I only used new nuts and bolts, I reused my washers, they won’t be much from Land Rover though.
