I bought a Warn mount myself recently and hope to fit a Superwinch EP12 kitted out with some 11 or 12 mm Dyneema Plasma Rope.

Can I ask where you got yours from Discowex? I like the standard external LR mount, but no the price, I understand LR only sell it as the complete kit and you can't just buy the bracket, but I assumed someone else made it and perhaps they were available from bearmach or somewhere.

Where did you get yours?

Hi Paul ,

I got it on ebum ( not the incomplete one ) as I managed to convince the fella to stick a BIN on it literally only a few mins after he listed it.I haven't asked if he can source more but I can do tomorrow morning.

there's a few complete kits on ebay usa for about 850 istr , but shipping and taxes null the saving.

Make it look easy. The last time I looked at something like that, it was how to build a pergola. It did not end well. Rolling with laughter

Thanks Discowex

I would say its time for a business trip the the US, but I am not sure a winch kit would pass BA luggage regs, and also with our share price tanking (work for US company) I am not sure its the right time to ask for any thing that costs money!

Let me know what your man from ebay says Wink
