2011 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 Landmark LE Auto Santorini BlackDiscovery 4
Front Pads and Discs

I have some wheel wobble and the local stealer reckon its due to pads and discs need changing. What should i be paying for these and wheres best to get them for the TDV6 model. My brother in law is an RAC patrol so he will fit them for me. Just need them for the weekend
Help please

check this wheel wobble carefully. Is the disc wobbling ie some play. if so it could be a wheel bearing, just like what happended to mine on Saturday .... Duncan

Was the wobble only felt when you breaked, its my steering wheel juddering from side to side

No my wheel wobbled when i jacked it up. it was making an increasingly grinding kind of noise and when jacked the disc was moving around.

if it is the pads then TLO can provide you with the necessary stuff. takes about 1 1/2 hours to change all 4 if you have never done them before and no special tools are needed. you can compress the cylinders with a pice of wood and one of those cheap clamp things from B&Q Duncan
