Front Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated

Been told that my D4 will fail its MOT as both bushes are shot.

My indy reckons he can just replace the bushes (apparently they're £30 each) and get away with doing the full arms?.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma at what to do?, £60 bushes plus labour? or get the Meyle kit from AF and get him to fit that?

Is it easy just to replace the bushes?

personally I would replace the Arms.. and you have a new ball joint in the process. Having tried to remove the bushes out of my old arms, gave up and got new arms.

Takes about 20 minutes to replace a bush once you have got the arm off, but if like me the arms are fettled and repainted much longer, it's only the rear bottom bush that fails, almost a waste of time changing the others. If you are doing it yourself have time and are reasonably able just do the bushes, if paying someone else and it's not mates rates change the arms, it will also need 4 wheel alignment regardless of what you decide.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
