Front Wheel arch clips. (Help Needed)

Can anyone advise me how easy the 10 clips holding on the front plastic arches come off.
Do you mark the outer plastic (White marks) when you pull them off?

Cheers.

I assume you're messing with the front bumper? Once you've got all the screws out (from underneath), as DG says, you need to pull firmly but carefully - prising with something like spatula can help

There IS one big one though down at the front bumper that holds them together - be careful with this one as it is completely different to the others

I got a nice 'wedge' tool from Merc for doing interior trim on the dash of A's and Bs which does the job for things like this. I think it was about £5 and for a simple shaped lump of plastic is really useful. I could get the part number if you like.

It hasn't! And its been used a few times, not just on this motor Whistle

Besides which it lives in the garage now, not in the utensil jar Mr. Green

MB Wedge tool

The wedge is MB part nr W115 589 03 59 00 and the dash pulling hooks MB part nr W140 589 02 33 00 if anyone is interested.

I used it this weekend to get the radio out of the A class and the wedge was excellent - removed the plastic without that thought that at anyminute it was going to fracture!

Fitted an aux input to the MB Audio 20 radio to allow ipod/satnav etc to be fed in. Total cost (inc tools) £25. Well worth it.

Just finished.

I've had both front inner arches out, both outer plastic arches off, and the other bits that you need to take off. I wanted to Waxoil behind them and clean lots of tar that I picked up in Scotland.I was quite surprised how much muck came out, behind the trims.
1)The mud flap comes off with 3 screws.
2)To get the outer arch off there are lots of clips ( didn't break one) and a little B Censored d screw behind the headlight, and 1 screw at the bottom. There are 8 pop off clips on the wing and 2 bigger ones through the bumper. 4 push fit clips through the outer arch to the inner arch, in to the metal wheel arch.
3)The plastic trim at the bottom of the wing on the sill has 2 pop off clips and then slides forward off the plastic sill cover.
4)The inner plastic arch comes out after you have removed about 10 push fit clips and 2 screws.

I have put some pictures on my gallery if anyone needs to do this job.
