Thanks TLO!!!
Quick google search of the LR014147 part number shows a myriad of options including prices all over the map. I assume the cheaper prices reflect cheaper parts (poor quality)? 16 D4 Landmark

well done that man
Whoever he is, suspected it would be a simple job but good to have that confirmed, would it be worth adding this to the wiki?

Just make sure you have somebody available to press the brake for you when slcakening the hub nut, the rest was relatively straight forward.

Just changed the front wheel bearing using this excellent guide and all went well.
When I removed the front wheel there was no T40 Torx bolt holding the disc to the hub, now is this essential as there are 5 bolts holding the wheel onto the hub and clamping the disc. I have tried searching for a part number but no success yet.
Any thoughts?

The torx bolt holding the disc is not essential. Many put things back without it, without issue, after it gets mangled and rounded off when trying to undo it.
Having said that, I'm pedantic so like to have things "as they should be". And yes, SYP100241 is the correct part number Dennis

|
Can anyone post on here the bearing numbers and letters which are on the bearing race this is the bearing identification and will make it very easy to find replacement bearings without going through the stealers I have a friend within a bearing company

Forget it - you will never split the hub and get it back together with any sort of reliability IMHO.
Just buy a Timken (About £115 from AF) and fit that. I've just changed my front bearings (Both as one had gone other bound to follow) - they lasted something like 100k - and I off road it a reasonable amount. So about a penny a mile Mark.
