FROZEN WING MIRRORS

I have a problem with the wing mirrors not swinging out as a result of being frozen when unlocking the car.
I have contacted the main agent at Knutsford to try to disarm the mirrors when frosty.
They were not sure what to do
Does anybody know how to stop the mirrors closing when locking the doors?.

Is this a D3? - If it is you seem to have got/done something that a lot of members have been trying to do for a very long time, to get the mirrors to fold on locking, come on spill the beans, how is it done? Bow down
Simple solution is to lubricate with silicone.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Guess he need to update his profile. Pretty sue there is a CCF option but no doubt the dealer does not have the ability to change the setting. Perhaps a MSV2 owner can do it?

Silicone spray would be ideal.
