My question is; is it doable? Can you install a Webasto Thermo Top V petrol version in to a 4.4 engine? Does the ECU support it? I would like it for quicker warmer cabin heat like the one I have on my TDV6.
Since it is a very simple system I don't see why not. It may not be an automatic function but maybe a manual? Two hoses to the engine coolant, fuel feeding, voltage and exhaust. It shuts off when the temp reaches 90 degrees. Am I wrong? 2005 Disco 3 TDV6 HSE, 2.5" Johnson Rods lift kit, 265/70R17 Mickey Thompson MTZ tires, Heavy Duty front axles, 12.000 lbs discrete mounted winch, Mantec Sump guard, LR Raised Air intake, Albrecht 6890 CB Radio, Superchips ECU remapped, Sprint Booster Throttle Response, K&N air filter, Waeco fridge, 42" & 23" LED bars, Britpart rock sliders....
