Maybe a stupid question,but why does`nt my 07 D3 tdv6 have a lock on the fuel cap

It does not need to. Once the car is locked u are unable to open the filler flap I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

Should do, poss been broken if stuck previously???

PS ISTR that US spec D3s don't have a lock but I may be wrong.

You are correct DSL, the US D3s do not have locking fuel doors. At least not when I bought mine. 2000 Discovery 2 Kent Green (totaled) R.I.P.
