if it makes you feel better:
V8 round town 18l/100
on a run 70mph 12l/100
driving miss dazy on a run 60ish 10l/100
think your decimal point is in the wrong place 0.8-0.9 should be 8.0 to 9.0l/100km 8 being approx 32mpg UK
But on LPG so still costs less than a clunky diesel

Cheers

I recommend you speak to Gordon from 4-tech (forum member)
I forget the make but will check. But cost is around 2k plus vat in the UK
I had mine done in Poland as too far to bring to Gordon and i paid half that as labour costs here are a fraction of the UK costs. Really impressed - same performance and no chek light as its connected to the OBDII and self corrects to prevent adaption of fuel exceeding the limits.
I havent fitted the lubrication system yet - but have the car running on petrol (1ms) and gas mkaing up the rest to protect the valves in the meantime

Ian,
Now the major issue with those is the tank? I understand you got it where the spare sits normally right?
What capacity is it?

In 'wintercondtions' [ -5 to 5 C] town : 11,6 /100 and highway 10,5/100 [FBH working]. Before remap : summer conditions [ 9 to 28C] town : 10,5/100 and highway 9,8/100 . Now [modest remap for economy, but still +30HP and + 60nM] : town 9,8/100 and highway 8,8/100 . '' The highway bit is not 100% pure : sometimes ist with the family, sometimes alone [ 4p / 250kG difference]. Last year I did a run to the UK [max 110km/h , av 75km/h] with full load [ 5p +luggage] and I averaged 8,2/100 , if I remember correctly. These are all from the board computer. Exact measuremants with repeated journeys in a single week [ 50km return] and filling up with the same load in the car at the same pump, indicate an 'optimism' of 8 % of the LR measurement... '' But I still used the odometer, which may be optimistic as well... [ 19" Michelin lattitude 255/60 tires].
