Fuel flap actuator
Hi all,
A few days ago my misses couldn’t open the fuel flap at the fuel station, she brought it back and I quickly found the problem and removed the actuator.
It will cost around £80 to replace with a genuine LR part (can’t seem to find OEM or aftermarket) inc VAT and delivery.
My question is. Is it worth replacing ? I realise the flap won’t lock when the car is left but I fell that isn’t too much of an issue.
Has everyone else always replace theirs ?2005 D3 SE Auto, zermatt silver

Britpart ones are about £45. Genuine OEM brand new one on a certain auction site for £50.

Nope, not needed for MOT, the cap itself needs to seal properly but the door is fine.
I picked up a motor and cable assembly from a popular auction site for £20
