Fuel flap actuator removal disco 3

Hi all, can some learned member tell me if the fuel flap actuator is screwed in place or just clipped in
and can you remove it without taking the trim off. Cheers

What's up with it? Mine wouldn't lock and turned out the rod had popped out. Removed the jack and could access the cable to pop it back in.

I was hoping mine was the same after reading all the threads about them, unfortunately mines broken snaped off on the end of the locking pin, from some pictures I've seen of the actuator it looks as though they have a Spring clip type plate what thre're mounted on any idea?

Did mrs G_Cams last week..
No need to remove any trim etc IF its the small plastic lock/Spring that has broken.
Just open the flap - pull off the bits that are broken and stick the new bits in.. simples.. Thumbs Up

If its the actual actuator cable it IS a trim out job IIRC

Unfortunately it's the cable so the trim has to come off you say is this a straight forward job any thing to watch out for?
