Hi All,
I am new to the site but decided to join as my google searches showed that disco3.co.uk was one of the better Land Rover sites around.
I have a Discovery 4, 2011 HSE. Much to love about it but recently I have been having problems that my dealer does not seem able to resolve. The most pressing of these is that my D4 is shutting off at just below half tank if I am coming down a steep hill. Problem is I live on a very hilly island. The dealer thought it might be the fuel tank floats and I have had the rear and front floats changed. This has not solved the problem In fact, now when I am descending a hill the fuel guage and fuel range indicator both reduce rapidly from say 3/4 tank to 1/4 tank or from 150 miles to 75 miles.
If anyone has experienced this before or has any suggestions I can run by the dealer I would appreciate it.
Thanks
John

Tortola? One of my fave places. Unfortunately can't help with the shutting down problem.
