Have got an eratic fuel guage. Started about six months ago and would suddenly show empty and warning light would show. gradually got worse and had it checked at dealers but said nothing wrong. It now does it more frequently and whilst driving can suddendly show empty or anything between empty and actual level in tank,then it goes back to actual level. No pattern when fault starts.Any ideas please?

Thanks for that,makes interesting reading. Pressume you had similar problems,did you find exact position of worn wiring?
