Fuel Leak top of Bank 0

Hi there,

I have a pool of fuel gathering at the top of Bank 0 of the engine and a weird little yellow clip seems to be adrift.

Can anyone please shed light on what I can do about it???

The injector itself maybe leaking.
Or the 2
Pipes.

Work out which.

Any idea how to tell if it's the injector?

More often than not its the spill back pipe that starts to leak, they get very brittle.

Flack Thumbs Up

Mick Flack replaced mine a couple of years ago as I was having the same problems. If you do it yourself always buy a few extra clips as they are tricky little Censored and when they ping off they are gone forever Neutral

Plus 1 ref those clips

Forget who’s idea it was but I now tie a bit of Cotten around the clips before fully removing them, got fed up keep having to buy replacements Laughing

Also reminds me of the cillet bang advert , ping and there gone Whistle

So you're saying it's more likely to be a leak from this?

That's where mine leaked from, another mention regarding the clips, they're absolute sods Laughing

That’s the one - the clips are tiny bits of devil pube that will ping off into the darkest recesses of the engine bay if you are not careful! Cotton is a great idea or a really strong magnetic probe near when you remove might help
 Must stop buying shiny toys....

Hiya

another one that I’ve tried is using small fishing hook locking pliers, work a treat As used a Dremel to cut a slight groove near the end to hold the clip

Also seen on ebay can get angled or extra long pliers

Hope that makes sense
